Website for the

tutoring centre

client

I was approached by the engineering tutoring centre VUZ-Vector, which is engaged in preparation for exams and Olympiads. The unique feature of the centre is training in profile subjects — mathematics, physics and computer science.
The main advantage of the tutoring centre  are the teachers. Students are taught by current engineers, lawyers, researchers and PhD students who are practitioners in their fields.

Task

Develop a new stylish and clear website that will set the centre apart from its competitors and attract the target audience.
The purpose of the website  to present the tutoring centre, to arouse trust and desire to leave an application .

Completed works / prototyping

Analytics:
Copywriting:
A thorough analysis of the niche and related niches was conducted, competitors' websites and target audience were analysed. Potential clients (parents of pupils) faced more questions due to the lack of complete information and understandable texts. Parents have to make a very responsible decision when choosing a tutoring centre, because the future of their child directly depends on it. On the basis of this analysis, the structure of the website and the texts for the website were developed. The main emphasis was placed on reputational content: cases and teachers.
After the analysis it was decided to abandon the usual method of pressure on pain, and on the contrary, to focus on ecological sales the text should reflect the care about the user and tell about the benefits for the client that the tutoring centre provides. With the help of the text, the approach to work and client-centredness is reflected and the questions and needs of the target audience are covered.

Completed works / design

Visual Concept:
Design:
To convey the advantages of the approach, references were collected and presented to the customer. The font pair and colour palette were selected. The main associations were: trust, professionalism, confidence, modern approach.
At this stage it was necessary to show the customer visual ideas and synchronise in the vision of the future website.
The bento style is predominantly used in the design to build a visual hierarchy and to emphasise each thought. Also the bento style is already familiar for interfaces, especially for mobile applications. Thus, the familiar organisation of space makes the user feel trusted and he can safely study the material on the website. Apple emoji were used to visualise the theses, as they are already clear and familiar to all users of messengers and social networks. Unique 3D images were generated as additional graphics.

Completed works / layout

Layout:
Animation:
The website is built on the Tilda platform. Adaptive design for mobile devices is set up so that users with any phone or tablet could browse the site and submit requests with convenience. Feedback forms and basic seo are set up.
It was decided to refuse from active animation on the website in order not to draw the user’s attention away from the content.
Parallax effect on the mouse movement on the first screen of the website was used to attract attention.
For clickable elements, animation is used when the mouse is hovering over an object to make it clear to the user that this element is clickable.
